EU is presently working on the proposal for regulation of food information to customers. The proposal includes the GDA-nutrition labeling. But GDA misleads consumers and does not support healthy eating. Health organizations, consumer councils and part of the food industry are against the GDA as it might increase – not fight – the obesity epidemic. Please visit http://stopGDA.eu for arguments against GDA, research on alternative lebelling and ways to join the campaign.
